Jake Jones

Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach - Marshfield High School

Jake Jones has been the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Marshfield High School for the past five years. He is a sought after coach in the area for clinics, traveling teams, and camps. He has a long history of coaching which includes being an Assistant Coach at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Jake graduated from Springfield College in 2009 where he was a member of the Men’s Pride Lacrosse Team and played midfield. Jake was Captain his senior year and First Team All Pilgrim League in 2007, 2008 & 2009. In addition to being a Varsity Head Coach, he is also the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Marshfield High School, a Volunteer League Rep for the ACL and leads several coaching clinics on the South Shore where he assists other Coaches on teaching techniques. After a surfing trip to Nicaragua, Jake envisioned bringing his love for surfing and lacrosse together by creating the South Shores first ever Liquid Lacrosse Camp. Liquid Lacrosse is where kids can experience both the lacrosse and surfing lifestyles for an entire week of summer in one camp.

Mike Smith

Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach - Marshfield High School

Mike Smith is a graduate of South Hadley High School in 2005 where he played lacrosse as a defenseman. In 2004, his high school team was the Division 2 Boys Lacrosse State Champion. Mike attended Springfield College from (2005-2010) where he was a four year member of the Men’s Lacrosse Team and played defense. While in college, Mike was a Captain his senior year (2010) and was also chosen to play in the USILA All American North/South Lacrosse game. Mike is currently the assistant lacrosse coach at Marshfield High School.

Jordan McIntosh

  • Jordan is entering his 5th season in the MLL with the Rochester Rattlers and is currently the captain of the Georgia Swarm of the NLL

  • USILA All-American...First Team All-Conference in the ECAC...Also named the Pilgrim Lacrosse Player of the Year...Ranks 4th all-time at Springfield College in scoring with 253 points on 127 goals and 126 assists...Also has Springfield's 4th most points recorded in one season with 87.
